Prof Dr. Wesal F. Hassan, a professor in the College of Marine Science (CMS), has participated in a workshop in Irbil City- northern Iraq on 13th- 15th June 2021. The workshop entitled "Clean Tigris Workshop - Dialogue for Peace" which was organized by the German organization "elbarlament" included discussions on the local challenges that affect the water sector in Iraq and came up with recommendations on ways to overcome them.
