Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Qalsam Khalifa, the fourth-year team from the Department of Natural Marine Sciences was crowned champion of the College of Marine Sciences Futsal Cup. This came after their well-deserved victory in the final match against the fourth-year team from the Department of Applied Marine Sciences, with a score of 3-1.

The match witnessed a brilliant performance from the winning team, who displayed outstanding organization and a high level of teamwork, contributing to retaining the title for the second year in a row. The goals were scored through exceptional collective efforts, confirming the team's readiness and resilience in crucial moments, which created an enthusiastic atmosphere in the stands.

The team members and coaching staff expressed their happiness with this result and praised the support of their colleagues and the college administration.
