On the occasion of Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Week, the Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Marine Sciences, University of Basra, held a workshop entitled "The Importance of Maintaining Cleanliness in the University Environment" on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Hall 2. The workshop was presented by Dr. Nadia Ali Hussein, Head of the Educational Guidance Unit, and Mr. Alaa El-Din Karim Atshan, Head of the Human Rights Unit.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness in the university environment.

It included a range of activities and topics highlighting the role of cleanliness in improving the quality of academic life and fostering a sense of community among students.
