
As part of strengthening academic and research cooperation, the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Professor Osama Qasim Khalifa, along with a group of faculty members and students, visited the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies. They were received by Rear Admiral Mahmoud Shaker Nasser, President of the Academy, and a group of Academy officers.
This visit is part of the College's efforts to expand education and training in marine sciences. Areas of cooperation were discussed between the two sides. The Scientific Assistant, Professor Nouris Abdulghani Abdul Zahra, played a prominent role in organizing the visit and coordinating the meetings.
The Head of the Applied Sciences Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mu'ayyad Hassan Al-Bahdali, and the Head of the Natural Sciences Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Ahmed Mahmoud, also participated in the visit, adding value to the discussions on future trends in marine sciences.
All participants expressed a keen interest in exchanging expertise and information, which contributes to raising the level of education and training in marine sciences.
