Seminar on the diversity of mucospores in Shatt al-Arab fish

Graduate student Ibtihal Kazim Jawad presented a seminar on Monday, September 22, 2025, titled "Diversity of Mucosporangia in the Cnidaria Parasitica Phylum in Fishes of the Shatt al-Arab."

The seminar examined the diversity of these spores from a phenotypic perspective, focusing on three main axes:

1. Site of infection (infected organ).
2. Phenotypic taxonomic attribution supported by histological studies.
3. Analysis of molecular aspects to enhance diagnosis.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the audience, including professors and graduate students, interacted by asking questions and making observations.
