On 20th October 2022, Dr. Alaa Aadil Mizhir from the College of Marine Science has participated in the MSc Examination of the postgraduate student Tahrir Nahidh Majeed from the Department of Chemistry, College of Science. The candidate's thesis was on "Using solid phases of activated carbon prepared from natural materials in extracting and removing Congo red and methylene green dyes from their aqueous solutions using the SPE solid phase extraction technique". She has passed the examination successfully with an excellence degree.
