On Tuesday 20th July 2022, Dean of the College of Marine Science Prof. Dr. Hamid Al-Saadhas chaired the MSc thesis examination committee of student Haider Kamil Zayir at the Department of Environment, College of Science, University of Basrah. The thesis was entitled "Removel of petroleum hydrocarbons from industrial wastwater in Basrah province using eco-friendly materials" and the student has succeeded defending his thesis.
