On Thursday 10th June 2021, the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamid Al-Saad, headed a master degree debate in the Department of Environment at the College of Science. The MSc. Student Zahraa Abdel-Amir Taha's thesis was entitled “Water Quality Assessment for Three Treatment Plants in the City of Basra.” The discussion was attended by the chancellor of the University of Basrah and staff members of the College of Science.
