A new book was published on the marshes of southern Iraq (Environment and Preservation) by Springer International Publishing House on 5/5/2021. One chapter of the book ,about the reality of the marshes environment, was written by Prof. Dr. Hamid Al-Saad, Dean of the College of Marine Sciences. The book is considered a reference for studies addressing the reality of the marshes of southern Iraq. The College of Marine Sciences, University of Basra, had important touches in this book.
