Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein Hatem Ghazi, an administrative assistant and faculty member in the Department of Natural Marine Sciences at the College of Marine Sciences, University of Basra, participated in the comprehensive examination committee for doctoral student Zuhair Kadhim Farhan in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education.

Dr. Ghazi's participation was part of the evaluation and discussion of the student's dissertation project entitled "Bioaccumulation of microplastics and some heavy elements on Penaeus semisulcatus shrimp and evaluation of their health hazards to the consumer."

This participation falls within the framework of mutual scientific and academic cooperation between the colleges of the University of Basra and the shared commitment to exchanging expertise to enhance the quality of postgraduate studies, particularly environmental and applied research concerned with consumer safety and the protection and management of marine resources.
