The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra organized a field trip for postgraduate students, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Fadhil Jabbar Farhan and Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh, to Iraqi territorial waters, as part of the requirements for their research projects.

The trip aimed to collect field samples necessary for scientific studies from specific locations, thus supporting the practical application of research and enhancing students' fieldwork skills according to established scientific principles.

These activities reflect the college's commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application and providing a comprehensive research environment that contributes to raising the level of scientific research and addressing environmental and marine issues.
