As part of their graduate studies projects, graduate students collected water and soil samples from the Shatt al-Arab estuary, the Faw River, and the Iraqi coast, under the supervision of specialized professors, including Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh and Dr. Fadhil Jabbar Farhan. The activity aims to enhance scientific understanding of pollution and its impact on the marine environment.
This initiative highlights the environmental challenges in coastal areas, as students strive to offer practical solutions for improving water quality and preserving natural resources. These efforts reflect their commitment to a better environmental future and reinforce the college's position as a leading academic institution.
