A committee from the University of Basra Presidency, headed by Professor Abdul Karim Taher, visited the College of Marine Sciences on Sunday, October 26, 2025, to review the progress of the educational process in the college's various departments. The visit included matching the pre-established schedules of faculty members with their presence in classrooms and laboratories, in accordance with the established schedule and curriculum of each faculty member.

During the visit, the committee emphasized several measures that must be implemented in the future to ensure improved quality of education.

At the end of the visit, the committee expressed satisfaction with the level of work and punctuality, praising the college's commitment to the directives of the university presidency.
