Graduate students at the College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra have begun their official attendance for the 2025-2026 academic year, under the direct supervision of the college's deanship and its academic departments.

The Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, emphasized the importance of students' commitment to seriousness in pursuing knowledge and scientific research. He noted that the college has provided all the necessary scientific and administrative requirements to create a suitable academic environment that contributes to advancing the educational and research process.

The Dean of the College wished the graduate students continued success in their academic careers, contributing to serving the university and society and enhancing the status of scientific research in the fields of marine and environmental sciences.
