On Sunday morning, June 30, 2025, the competitive examination for students applying for graduate studies (Master's) for the 2025-2026 academic year was held at the College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra. The examination was held amidst a calm organizational atmosphere and precise administrative and academic procedures.

The examination was conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, and attended and monitored by the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Hatem Ghazi, and the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Nouris Abdul-Ghani Abdul-Zahra. They emphasized the importance of adhering to ministerial regulations and instructions and providing an appropriate environment for the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
