The Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, participated in the discussion committee for the master's thesis of student Tariq Mazid Nasser from the Department of Geography at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra. The thesis was entitled: "Geomorphology of the Wadi Al-Subaihiyah Basin, Southeastern Al-Muthanna Desert."
