Dr. Saleh Al-Hassoun, Rapporteur of the Committee of Deans of Science Colleges in Iraq, visited the College of Marine Sciences, where he was received by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Hatem Ghazi.
During the visit, they discussed the nature of the college and its academic departments, in addition to viewing the laboratories and available facilities.

Dr. Al-Hassoun also praised the efforts made to develop the college despite its limited resources, commending the scientific and administrative capabilities that contribute to supporting its educational and research journey.
