Lecture on physiological responses of juvenile shrimp and the effect of nanoparticles

A PhD student in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources at the College of Agriculture and a lecturer in the College of Marine Sciences / Department of Natural Marine Sciences, Ashwaq Talib Abbas, gave a scientific lecture entitled "Physiological Responses of Juveniles of the Halophytic Shrimp (Metapenaeus affinis) and the Effect of Silver and Chitosan Nanoparticles on Growth Parameters".

This lecture was supervised by Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein Hatem Ghazi and Assistant Professor Dr. Intisar Naeem Sultan, and was attended by Assistant Dean of the College of Marine Sciences Professor Dr. Nouris Abdul Ghani, Head of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Professor Dr. Khalida Salem Al-Naeem, Head of the Department of Natural Marine Sciences Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Ahmed Mahmoud, in addition to a number of professors from the College of Agriculture and the College of Marine Sciences.

The lecture included an extensive scientific discussion that addressed the content of the research and the most prominent results that were reached, highlighting the effect of nanoparticles in improving growth parameters in shrimp, which reflects the importance of this technology in developing aquaculture.
