The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra participated in a celebration to launch the national program standards, which was held at the University of Baghdad, College of Science, in the presence of figures from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The celebration was attended by the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, who also participated in a meeting of the deans of the colleges of science in Iraq to discuss topics related to the specializations of the colleges of science, problems and proposed solutions, in addition to discussing innovations in the colleges of science in line with the labor market. This meeting is the first in which the College of Marine Sciences participates as a member of the colleges of science in Iraq.
