The College of Marine Sciences Council held its ninth session today, chaired by the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa.

Several important topics were discussed, including the approval of the establishment of evening studies and the establishment of the application mechanism and conditions. The meeting also addressed the topic of postgraduate studies and the approval of student projects.

During the session, the Dean affirmed his support for the Quality Division in all fields and his readiness to complete all files and upload them to the website of the Ministry's Supervision and Evaluation Authority for the purpose of obtaining programmatic accreditation and entering the national classification for the academic year 2023-2024.

The mechanism of cooperation between the College of Marine Sciences and relevant departments such as the Basra Governorate Council, the General Company for Iraqi Ports, and the Southern Region Environment Directorate was also discussed.
