The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra organized a marine scientific trip to Khor Al-Zubair, accompanied by Dr. Imad Jassim Al-Shawi, professor of the advanced marine ecology course, and Dr. Ayman Abdel Latif from the College of Marine Sciences.

The graduate students were informed about the marine nature of Khor Al-Zubair and trained on field devices to measure environmental factors, as well as training on collecting marine samples from water and sediment using some devices that were prepared for them by the Deanship of the College of Marine Sciences during the recent period to support scientific research.
