The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra organized a scientific trip to the Sihan region.

The trip was accompanied by Professor Dr. Nawras Abdel-Ghani Al-Fayez, Dr. Abdullah Najm Abboud, and assistant researcher Mohammad Hussein Awad. They conducted a tour of all the farm sites and their facilities to learn about them and their working mechanism, as well as seeing how to create fish farming ponds and water supply and drainage channels, as well as the components of the closed circulation system, its components and mechanism.
