The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra made a scientific visit to the Arabian Gulf Academy for Marine Studies.
The visit included a scientific training workshop on maritime telecommunications and the role of satellites in determining the paths of maritime ships.
In addition to a tour of the corridors of the planetarium, learning about all the workshops and machines belonging to all kinds of ships, and knowing how radars work and their importance.
The lecture was delivered by Marine Captain Dhia Youssef Al-Saad, Director of the Planetarium, and the students were accompanied by Dr. Ayman Ghazi Faisal and teacher Shaima Abdel Amir Abboud.
