The Department of Applied Marine Sciences organized a scientific trip to the Harir Scientific Research Station affiliated with the Marine Sciences Center on 12/12/2023.
The students of the College of Marine Sciences, Department of Applied Marine Sciences, third stage, undertook a scientific trip to the Harir Scientific Research Station affiliated with the Center for Marine Sciences, which is located in the marshes of the Harir region, east of Ho Al Hamar. The trip included a scientific lecture and a detailed explanation by the professor of the freshwater science course, Prof. Imad Jassim Al-Shawi talked about the most important physical and chemical characteristics of the marsh waters in the region, as well as the biodiversity in the environment of the East Hammar Marshes.
