On Tuesday, 15th May 2023, a visit to the planetarium of the Arabian Gulf Academy for Marine Studies was made by students of the College of Marine Sciences, Department of Applied Marine Sciences accompanied by the course teacher, Ms. Ayman Ghazi. The visit was special to the Maritime Art course given for first-level students. The group was received by Captain Dhia Youssef, in charge of the planetarium. He kindly gave an introductory lecture on the history of the Academy, in addition to accompanying the students on a tour of the laboratories and conducting a practical application on how some important devices work on the ship.
