On Thursday, 18th May 2023, a thesis debate was held to examin the candidate Zainab Abdel-Hussein Salem, who is supervised by Dr. Hamid Al-Saad, Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, in partnership with Prof. Dr. Abbas Hamid from the Earth Department, College of Science. Dr. Ali Mahdi, from the Department of Natural Marine Sciences, also participated in the debate. It is noteworthy that the student obtained the degree of distinction.
