Prof. Dr. Nawras Abd al-Ghani al-Faaz, a lecturer at the College of Marine Sciences, University of Basrah, has participated in the PhD dissertation debate committee of the postgraduate student  Zaid Fadaam Asal which is titled "The effect of protein on growth parameters and standards blood for grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idella cultured in mud ponds". The debate was conducted on Thursday 1/26/2023 in the Department of Fish and Marine Resources at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah.
