CMS staff member participates in a training course in Iran

Prof. Dr. Donia Khairallah Khasaf Al-Khuzai, a teacher in the Department of Applied Marine Sciences, participated in a training course for teaching from December 24th to December 30th, 2022. The course was held in the Islamic Republic of Iran within the scientific cooperation agreement between the University of Basrah and Ferdowsi University in Mashhad. The course included a series of workshops on teaching methods, psychology and scientific research, how to publish in international journals, scientific international relations, as well as scientific promotion methods.
It also included a visit to the scientific laboratories in the College of Science and the College of Agriculture of Ferdowsi University, such as the soil and water resources laboratories, the spectroscopy laboratory, the minerals and natural resources laboratories, the microbiology laboratories, and viewing the types of locally manufactured fermenters in the biotechnology laboratories.
It also included a visit to the psychology laboratory and reviewing the electronic devices used in this field for the purpose of simulating the brain and sending and receiving electrical signals. Last but not least, the university's corridors and the services available therein were toured, such as visiting the central library of the university, the university's museum and sports facilities.
