On Thursday 15th December 2022, the Department of Natural Marine Sciences, College of Marine Sciences, organized a workshop entitled “Anatomy of Fish”.The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Jassim Al-Faisal from the Department of Marine Vertebrates, Marine Science Center. The workshop dealt with an introduction to the scientific and practical method of dissecting fish for the purpose of extracting the internal organs properly for the purpose of examining and studying them, in addition to identifying the anatomical tools used and the purpose of their use. The workshop also included a practical part to train the participants on proper and correct anatomy and extracting and distinguishing the internal organs.
