On Thursday, 9/23/2022, a meeting of the University of Basrah Council was hosted by the College of Marine Sciences, on the occasion of the opening of the new building of the college. CMS Dean Prof. Dr.Hamed Al-Saad received the Chancellor of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen and the members of the Council. The Chancellor toured the CMS building and pointed out the requirements needed by the college. He recommended to facilitate them in order to serve the students and the educational process.
