On Monday 18th April 2022, the College of Marine Sciences received the associate chancellor of the University of Basrah for scientific affairs, Prof. Zaki Abdullah Ahmed accompanied with the dean of the College of Pharmacy, the dean of the College of Dentistry, and the Secretary General of the University Council. The aim behind this visit was to view the advances taken place in the rehabilitation of the building of the College of Marine Science and to facilitate the rest of necessary requirements of the college. Several laboratories were listed in the top list of supplies to be provided in coordination with other colleges in the University of Basrah.
The Dean, Prof. Dr. Hamed Al-Saad, who received the team with the college main staff, has thanked the team for their keenness to complete and purchase the basic requirements of the College of Marine Sciences.
