On 27th January 2022, MSc Debate of a postgraduate student in the Department of Biology at the College of Science, Ruqayya Ali Hussein, was held. The candidate is supervised by the Dean of the College of Marine Science, Prof. Dr. Hamid Al-Saad. Her thesis was on assessment of pollution by heavy elements in the labyrinth sediments of the Shatt Al-Basrah River and the diagnosis of the fossils present in it. Assist. Prof. Dr. Osamah Qassem participated in the debate as well.
